We're Getting Married... a second time!
Denmark flagGermany flag

After a succesful legal ceremony in Denmark, we would like to gather our favourite people on the 7th of November 2026, for a day of celebrating, good food, drinks, and, if all goes to plan, some questionable dancing.

Of course, we would love for you to be a part of it!

Instead of a traditional invitation, we've put together this little website with all the practical information you'll need for the weekend. We'll keep it updated as the big day approaches, so check back from time to time for the latest details.

Logistics

Ceremony & Reception

Both the ceremony and reception will be held at the Nemsdorfer Hofgarten, located south west of Nürnberg. The map below shows the location of it, along with Nürnberg's airport, central station and the recommended hotel.

How to get to the venue

While the venue is only about 10 minutes outside of Nürnberg, it can be tricky to reach with public transportation. Therefore, we recommend one of the following options for people without cars:

  1. Book a cab via the app Bolt (works the same as Uber)
  2. Contact the maids of honor (Carola/Manuela) to hear if there any free spots with the people going by car

For the Copenhagen people: No, taking a bike is not a smart option!

How to get to Nürnberg (from Copenhagen)

Annoyingly, there are no direct flights from Copenhagen to Nürnberg, but there are a few other options:

  1. Connecting flight to Nürnberg airport via Amsterdam/Munich or similar
  2. Flight to nearby airports
    • Prague: 4 hours train ride away
    • Munich: 2 hours train ride away
  3. Train: 10½ hours journey with change in Hamburg. Check connections on bahn.com (And bring a book)
  4. Flixbus: 16 hours journey. Don't do it if you value your health...

Accommodation in Nürnberg

For guests travelling from afar, we recommend staying at:

Scandic Nürnberg Central

15% discount code: EVENT

Otherwise, anything in Nürnberg or Stein is a short ride away from the venue.

Note: As Nürnberg has a big fair that weekend, hotels might get booked out closer to the date. So if you're certain of attending, it is better to book rooms sooner rather than later.

Questions

What should I wear?

Wear something you feel good in.

In case you prefer a bit more input: Think wedding-ready, festive, and dance-friendly. The dance floor has a bit of character (and a few small holes), so standard heels are no problem, but stiletto enthusiasts might appreciate a second pair of shoes once the dancing gets serious.

It's November... should I bring my winter coat??

Most of the celebration will take place indoors, but depending on the weather, parts of the ceremony and reception may be outside.

If you tend to get chilly easily, we'd recommend bringing an extra layer or a cozy jacket.. better to have it and not need it than the other way around!

What if I want to hold a speech / arrange some entertainment during dinner?

You can contact any of the 4 people above, who will help in making the schedule for the dinner.

Do you have a wishlist?

Your presence is honestly the biggest gift to us.

But if you would like to give something, we would appreciate a monetary contribution to a potential future flat :)
